To avoid any damage of the anodized surface of your aluminium bowl piece, you should ONLY USE 90-99% isopropyl alcohol during the cleaning process. Let it soak for a few hours and, if necessary, use a small brush to get it clean. Finally wash it thoroughly with warm water and soap

  • NEVER USE metal objects to clean your bowl piece!
  • NEVER USE ultrasonic cleaners, pressure washers or similar machines or methods!
  • NEVER USE glass cleaners, bong cleaners or other chemicals!
  • NEVER boil your bowl piece in water!

ALUMINIUM AND ANODIZING

Aluminium:

You may be asking why we use aluminium? There has been a lot of misinformation regarding the safety of aluminum but studies show, that there are extremely low risks of harmful or toxic effects.

So, why did we choose aluminium? We choose it for you! It´s amazing strength and durability were just the beginning! When you throw in its incredible low weight count, it`s no wonder we chose aluminum. Believe it or not, the FDA has published a study about aluminium and it's extremely low risks and can even be found in a large variety of every day products like food, cosmetics and even pharmaceuticals. A high percentage of all cookware and kitchen utensils is made from aluminium.

Anodizing:

"Anodizing is an electrolytic passivation process used to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of metal parts. The process is called anodizing because the part to be treated forms the anode electrode of an electrical circuit." Wikipedia

This non-hazardous and non-toxic process turns the surface of the aluminium into aluminium oxide, which increases abrasion and corrosion resistance. This oxide layer is heat resistant up to 650°C.

SURGICAL STAINLESS STEEL

"Surgical stainless steel is a grade of stainless steel used in biomedical applications. It's also often used in the manufacture and handling of food and pharmaceutical products in order to minimize metallic contamination." Wikipedia
